Both the design and you are gorgeous!

Hi Julia, nice pattern! I was planning to make the Honeymoon cami but now I'm thinking I'll start with this one. Both are on my spring/summer knit-list. I wore my sockapalooza socks you made me yesterday and got lots of compliments. thanks again!

I never did tell you what a cool design this is. Was showing it off yesterday at my LYS when they asked me about blogs and how people use them. You were my example of a designer supporting their patterns. Good job.

What a wonderful top, I was wondering though if you could post a close up of the back. It is really hard to see how the tab closure really works. I love the design. Thanks again for all your hard work.

My Lord you are clever. I love it.

Hey! Are you coming to Maryland Sheep and Wool???? Say yes say yes say yes...

Hi Julia,

I just wanted to let you know that I've started a KAL for this pattern, and have placed a link to your blog on it. The KAL is at http://asanakal.blogspot.com/ so you know where the strange people asking you tons of questions are most likely coming from.

Beautiful! I love the design, especially the interesting and unique back.

Looks great!

Hi Julia, Awesome pattern in Knitty!

I've also finally finished my Charlotte here.

I love love love it. I've actually been thinking about when I'll have found a reasonable excuse to buy some new yarn so I can make it. Of course, that is a little ways away, I am rich with yarn right now and there is no need to divert my love from it, but this piece is wonderful. I particularly love that it'll fit the wearer perfectly. Other people's patters are always too loose around my waist but your pattern wouldn't require any alterations to fit me. How cool is that?

Fabulous! Yet again you demonstrate your keen eye for design, shaping and technique. A fantastic pattern, a great model, and a clever top. A swatch destined for it may appear on my blog sometime soon...

Julia, it's wonderful. It sounds funny to say that a design is "thoughtful", but that is what always comes to mind when I look at your patterns.

Wonderful pattern, Julia. Congrats!

Never seen anything like it---it's wonderful. Beautiful to look at and fun to figure out, construction-wise.

Just so you can prepare yourself mentally, let me warn that I am going to start deluging you with emails begging you to design something for the un-buff. Do we who have back fat not deserve some Mind of Winter love?

(Think about caftans.) Congrats on a wonderful design. xoxo Kay

Hey Julia - just wanted to add my voice to the many saying congrats on another wonderful pattern - this one is on my to-knit list.

Another great pattern! What does the little tag say though?

Posted by: Jennifer at April 8, 2005 01:48 AM

Congrats on another great pattern. We're all so lucky you give your patterns like you do. Thanks for being so generous!

I love this tank! It's on my must knit list. I think I even like it better than the honeymoon, it's just so different!

Posted by: Danielle at April 7, 2005 05:37 PM

YAY Julia! Congrats on a great tank!

Posted by: Caryn at April 7, 2005 05:14 PM

Yay!!! It really looks like a fun knit-- I love the straps (that will definitely prevent the dreaded cleavage-flashing strap-stretch). I am definitely makiing this one.
And I just gotta say-- your designer photo is GORGEOUS!!!

Patti and Others Wondering - Yes you can wear a strapless bra with it - even a fairly hefty one - the top strap is the widest, just to make sure you get coverage.

Everybody Else - thanks so much for the support - it's great to hear from you!

Posted by: Julia at April 7, 2005 03:32 PM

I love love love it! Question- can you wear a strapless bra with it? I can't go without one but I love this top and want to knit it!!!

Posted by: patti at April 7, 2005 03:28 PM

Gorgeous, Julia! Asana motivates me to finish my yoga bag from Last Minute Knitted Gifts, and cast on some Rowan All Season's Cotton, both from downward dog!

My spring line-up just reshuffled!

Keep up the great designs,
