Holiday Goodies

I was spoiled to death with fibery goodies this year, not the least of which included a new Cascade spindle (pictures later) and some lovely bfl that my MIL picked up from Amy's Spunky Eclectic Shop. I've already spun half the roving into this:

TahitiHandspun4143.jpg A little thick and thin, but I love it. It reminds me of Manos.

You might also notice a new scarf peeking in at the corner of the photo. More on that later!

I've been wondering what the dyed rovings might look like all spun up; beautiful! I love it. The scarf is gorgous -- I've been thinking of making one myself ever since I saw it on Sheep In The City a while ago.

Oh wow, I like it very much! For some reason thick and thin is very hard for me to do. Yours looks really nicely done!

Your spinning is just lovely... and so is your scarf :D

It looks amazing. I love it. Did you keep it as singles? Any ideas for what you'll knit it into? I can't wait to see it in person.

The handspun is amazing. Who cares if it's thick/thin? Think of Manos and Point 5! The color and texture look wonderful. Happy New Year.

NOW who's enabling?! I just went over and bought some of Amy's roving! YAY! It looks gorgeous. I'm incredibly jealous.
