No one's angels

Dignity? What's that? In our defense, these photos were staged after we realized that we had lost about 5 hours of driving time and would be arriving in the Redwoods at midnight. We had already thrown sanity and dignity to the wind.

This started as an homage to Franklin, since I enjoyed his little foray into the heavens so much:

HomageCIMG5342.jpg Marnie may be sexing up Charlie, but I am clearly the killer here.

But it rapidly devolved into an homage to Dolores:

HomageCIMG5343.jpg We tried to make the roving look like weapons. No, really.

I can't decide if we're missing three gay men or a sheep. Franklin, perhaps you could ask Dolores if we could pencil her in? Seriously! It would be the best road trip souvenir ever.

Tried to make the roving... look like weapons?? Hm. I, um, yeah, I see it, sure! Boy, it sure is easy to get loopy on those long drives.

LOL!!!
Love the pics.

Would we *really* want Dolores there? Um, yeah! What
are Thelma and Louise without a sheep? I know Marnie
echoes the sentiment, because she gushed it all over my
blog comments.

Still, we would never presume to have you schedule
such an event for Dolores. We understand that she is
a busy sheep, and doubtless has some important
engagements in the enchanting town of Akron. Plus, if
you started scheduling appearances for her, it might
spiral out of control. We would not want to be the
cause of numerous requests for her valuable time all
over the blogosphere.

To sum up - would we absolutely love to see Dolores
wielding a fiber weapon in a bikini with a cigarette
hanging out of her mouth right smack dab in the center
of our Charlie's Angels shot? Yes! It would make us
the happiest girls ever. But, you might want to think
*hard* about it. We don't want to impose.

OMG! Franklin, I assure you, we would love to have Dolores in the picture, if she'd deign to be there with us. I assume it's safe for me to speak for both Julia and me.

I am so touched, I'm speechless. I've never had an homage before. I can't speak for Dolores, of course.

Would you *really* want her there with you? Think about it. Hard.

Thank you again :-)

What fun! I love Franklin too. He's incredibly, infectiously funny.

I love how you two have so much fun! You look like Thelma and Louise or Uma Thurman from Kill Bill. It's wonderful to have a good pal to crack up with.

Every time you and Marnie do a photo shoot, I really wanna come hang out with you guys. :) Looks like fun!

You know, I think the biggest indignity goes to the roving whose beauty was co-opted for such tomfoolery.

I'm not sure that 5 lost hours is worth two great pictures, but those are some great pictures indeed.

I feel there is an obvious segue to a "You know what they say about women with big roving" sort of line.
