October 06, 2006Handspun at the GettyRecently, I had a chance to meet up with Cara and MJ, and take some really fabulous photos at the Getty Musuem.
Checking out the wonderfully high-tech equipment.
Moving through the garden in search of the prized quarry.
There's a glimpse!
All photos of me, taking pictures of Cara, were taken by MJ. My knitwear for this shoot was generously provided by Marnie. Posted by Julia at October 6, 2006 09:54 PMIn main | talented friends

Heheh, I never get tired of seeing deciduous! These photos are so telling and evocative: pictures of you taking pictures of others. Sorta Edward Hopperish (not really Hopperish in the sense of human loneliness/alienation, but more so in that it seems like the photos show someone looking at you but you're never looking back at that someone, thus creating much interest and individuality in you as subject). And Marnie's design is fabulous: a stunning backdrop opening to an equally stunning back. Posted by: kodachrome at October 7, 2006 07:34 PMThat was such a lovely day, wasn't it? Now I'm curious about the pictures *you* took. When will I get to see my little wooden face? :-) Posted by: MJ at October 7, 2006 02:25 PMLooks like you all had a fun day! Don't you just LOVe the Getty garden?? Posted by: Nonnahs at October 7, 2006 10:30 AMYou look very good with that camera! The three of you must have been eye candy for all the visitors to the museum.
