Umm, was this First Aid red? In SFO, perhaps? If so, it might have been me. I'm sure that there are other First Aids out there, but I have to ask! First post from a LONG time lurker... ________________________________________________ I wish it had been - it would be so cool to have randomly seen the sweater of someone who reads my blog! It was white, though, and I accosted the woman and asked her all about it, so she'd remember for sure. I also think that the airport was LAX at Christmas (2005), though I do fly into SFO several times a year. xox, J Posted by: als at March 10, 2007 05:58 AMlook at her paws!! sleepy mom and pup...love it! the color you chose for river is so fresh...very complimentary to your sleeping countenance. Posted by: mamie at March 9, 2007 02:50 PMphotos of people and animals sleeping are some of the cutest photos, i think. and that river color is amazing as always. happy friday, julia ;) Posted by: andrea at March 9, 2007 10:34 AMwhat a lovely "candid" picture of river shawl. love it! love zosia, too. Posted by: blossom at March 9, 2007 07:57 AMAwww, those are such sweet sleepy pics. I think I only get "sighted" at fiber related events. I'm fine with that :) Glad to see you discovered the Flickr group! There are some fun pictures on there! It would be great if you added this one :) ___________________________ It's a great group, Lolly! You have some wonderful ideas. I will definitely join and post this, but if you think this is good, look out! I have some candids for you... xox, J Posted by: Lolly at March 9, 2007 06:49 AMI've gotten my handknits noticed on occassion. Usually at some fiber related event, but last time was a diner we frequent! It looks like you and Zosia had a nice time on the porch. Posted by: Jennifer at March 9, 2007 06:22 AMI actually got knit-stalked at a wedding while wearing a (gasp!) handknit shawl. Ashley from dogged.com was a guest at my cousin's wedding and approached me with "Is that the Flower Basket Shawl you're wearing?" It wasn't (it was Forest Canopy), but an instant friendship was made! Fashion risk? Never! ; ) _______________________________________ Great stalk! And how nice to strike up a friendship. I get knit stalked less in LA than I did in DC - folks out here stalk movie stars, so they don't have time for mere knitters, but we do play "Did you knit that?" at my office, and everyone is getting pretty good at knowing whether something is Hoolia made or by J. Crew at this point.... xox, J Posted by: Liz K. at March 9, 2007 05:39 AM |
