January 07, 2013A new hatThe great thing about having a four-year-old who likes my knits is that he likes my knits. The bad thing about it is that he steals things from me the second they are off the needles. It is impossible to answer in anything but the affirmative when that little voice asks "Is this for me?" Yes, it's for you. Everything is for you. ![]() Griffin rides again! Anyhoo, this is the latest off the needles. It's a fun, fast cabled hat in The Plucky Knitter's Primo Aran. This is the first time that I have used Sarah's yarn, but it won't be the last. The base is lovely and the color is to die (dye?) for. I am going to try to get this pattern out pretty quickly, so look for it in the next few weeks. I've got a 6-year old just like that. It's so gratifying to see him covered in woolens that I've knit, snuggling with a toy that I knit...but I'd love to knit for myself too :) It beats the 15-year old who refused to wear any hand knits for the first 14 years of his life though :) Posted by: Cambria Washington at January 8, 2013 07:05 AMUmmm, yes, please?
